Our Story
Becky started Little Witches Bakeshop because she loves making delicious things and sharing them with people she cares about. Several members of our family live with dietary restrictions and food allergies, including celiac disease, so we know firsthand how frustrating it can be to hunt for treats that feel both special and safe.
What we kept finding was the same story: “gluten-free options” that were dry, crumbly, or clearly an afterthought. We struggled to find cakes and treats for our youngest daughter’s birthdays and often ended up disappointed with the options available. We wanted better. We wanted our kids to have better.

A Will to Create Better
Becky was diagnosed with celiac disease over 20 years ago. Since then, she’s been working to perfect her gluten-free delights—not just for herself, but so others could enjoy them too.
When our daughter Fynnley was diagnosed at just two years old, that mission became even more personal. Every missed school treat, every birthday party serving pizza and cake that she couldn’t enjoy—it all added up to a lot of heartache. It might not seem like much to some people, but when your child can’t have what everyone else is having, it’s huge.
Becky made it her goal to perfect her craft so Fynn would never feel left out at parties, school events, or family gatherings.
As the years went by, people started to notice. Friends, family, and neighbors were often surprised to learn the treats they loved were actually gluten-free. Becky began getting regular requests to bake for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions—and the idea of a bakery kept coming up more and more.
A Bakery is Born
After years of being told she should start her own bakery, Becky finally decided to make it official in 2025—and Little Witches Bakeshop was born.
From day one, our goal has been simple: create high-quality, gluten-free treats that kids and adults reach for because they’re delicious—not just because they’re gluten-free.
We currently sell our goodies around Connecticut at local fairs, markets, and community events. You can check out our list of upcoming shows on our Events/Calendar page. Our treats are perfect for school events, family gatherings, office celebrations, or just because you survived another Monday.

But Why “Little Witches”
Simply put: we love Halloween. It’s full of whimsy, costumes, and of course treats for kids of all ages.
Little Witches is our way of bringing that playful, magical feeling to gluten-free baking all year long—so everyone, including those with celiac and food allergies, can enjoy something sweet and a little bit enchanting.
